Beauty. It’s in my DNA. I am committed to serving my clients and my community with authenticity, integrity and passion...and a few jokes, oh my!

I feel if you leave my salon and you’re not smiling with bouncing hair and feeling swagger, then I haven’t done my job right. It’s important that you come to BB’s Hive and feel the luxury of beauty but also have a lot of fun.

Over 30 years’ experience:

'82-'83 – I completed my training at the acclaimed Mr. Don’s State College of Beauty in Fargo.

'84 – I attended the academy and studied under the industry icon and educator Martin Parson in Toronto, and also met the infamous Dale Murray.

'84-'85 – My first job was in Grand Forks at The Barbers.

'85-'86 – Transitioned to Avant in downtown Minneapolis.

'87 – Attended the Miss American Pageant and did hair and makeup for Miss North Dakota, 

Susan Campbell.

'87-'91 – Then to H Design and many other independent Minneapolis salons.

'90-'91 – Travelled abroad to Europe building my modeling career.

'92-'99 – I was founder and owner of Artistry of Time salon.

'00-'20 – Sharpened my skills at other independent Minneapolis salons.

'21 – BB’s Hive was born.....
